Refreshments for Coffee Hour
Refreshments are served, week in and week out, in the Canterbury House immediately following the 10:00 am service at The Chapel. This simple act of hospitality is important to us at The Chapel. People throughout the life of the church sign up to provide food for a handful of Sundays each year. To sign up, contact the parish office at 217-344-1924, or contact JoAnne Geigner.
Food Collection for The Eastern Illinois Food Bank
The Chapel supports and collects food contributions for the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. The Foodbank itself is the primary food source for food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, and other programs working to feed the hungry in the 18 counties of Eastern Illinois. We invite you to bring food for this important program on the second Sunday of each month. We invite you to bring food for this important program on the second Sunday of each month.
